For whom the bell tolls. This june in the holy southern lands of Kanchipuram , Tamil Nadu, the sacramental bells reverberating the divine blessings of the Holy Shankara legacy , tolled deep for the members of Shastra Dharma Prachar Sabha , visiting the Kanchikamokotipeetham . We reached the mutt at 9.30 am after a delightful  darshan at the grand and glorious Varadarajan Temple. As we were ushered in the inner precincts of the mutt, walking along the sacred corridors filled with a soulful rendition by a lone voice, our mind was filled with a sense of  inexplicable joy and bliss. Swami Shankar Vijayendra , head of the Kanchi mutt , a man of great erudition and devotion, wisdom and Truth ,was there in the courtyard surrounded by devotees, disciples and staff from mutt. Our Editor, Truth was carrying with him a copy of Truth platinum jubilee issue and one Adhyatma Ramayana , both publications from SDPS. The moment Shankar Vijyendra had a glimpse of Truth his face beamed and he exclaimed Oh ! There you are from Truth,kolkata ! Truth is doing great work for Dharma ! Saying this he extolled the virtues of Truth to all those gathered around. He expressed his happiness and joy at the yeomen service of Truth towards Dharma and Shastras,ceaselessly  covering such a long period of time over eight decades. Soon couple of photographers were summoned and members of Shastra Dharma Prachar Sabha were caught in same frame with Shankar  Vijyendra signifying a moment of eternal Truth and blessing !! In conversation with a young member of the Mutt , it was revealed that the mutt is putting in concerted efforts towards establishment of Vedic pathshala in West Bengal  with one already functioning near Chandrakona in Midnapore and another in process at Silguri, as pujya Shankar Vijayendra feels once the reinforcement of Spiritual values and ideals in life and practice happens in West Bengal, then only the ressurrection of the bleak and spiritually void North East will be possible. 

In this light he highlighted the supreme importance of Truth as a beacon of spiritual journalism that clings strong to the tenets of infallible Shastras, publishing contemporary issues in the light of ancient eternal wisdom, small stories with profound wisdom and excerpts from Mahabharata and other Puranas. He stressed the importance of Truth in present times and expressed his amazement towards the eight decade long journey of the publication , particularly operating from a state that is being ruled by successive atheist , communist, anti hindu hostile governments. No wonder Maha Periyava Chandrashekharendra Saraswati Swamigal graced Leela Niketan ,the  holy abode of our founder Shrimat Upendramohan in person. Keeping with the tradition, Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal . the 69th mathadheesh of Kanchi Mutt, visited and blessed Leela Niketan thrice in his life time. The atmosphere inside the mutt was akin to that of a jubilatio and  the word was spread about the service of Truth propounded by its founder Srimat Upendramohan.the sevakas of Truth felt blessed and each moment was one of reckoning of the graces and inspiration of our founder Srimat Upendramohan Later we were escorted to the Kamakshi temple and after a  wonderful darshan and Puja under the special care and supervision of the mutt authorities, in a beautiful interaction with Shri Vishwanath Shastri he recounted learning about Truth way back in 1960's when he was a boy of nine years of age and Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati visited his home .Ever since he has been in awe and admiration of Truth. So this was a trip , a visit , a journey that bore the hallmark of grace divine of Srimat Upendramohan and the sevakas visiting the mutt this day could feel in their heart of hearts that whatever be their personal deficiencies their founder bestows on them grace infinite and ushers in their mundane life moments of divine beatitude and rare glory.
